Recover or Change a
Password on XP
Even if you do not have access to the
current password.
Simply follow these each steps:
Click Start
Click Run
Enter cmd This will open the
command prompt
Enter Net User and press the enter
key
Enter Net User [Windowsloginid]
followed by a space, then press the enter key.
ex: net user administrator
Enter the new password and press the
enter key.
Retype the new password and press the
enter key.
