How to Take a Screen Shot in XP Without Additional Software

 

Press Tthe "PrtSc" key. This will take a snapshot of your screen and place it into the clipboard.

 

Open up a program, (like Microsoft Paint) to paste your screenshot into. You can do this by pressing "Ctrl V".

Another alternate way to paste the screenshot is to right click the area you want to paste the screenshot, and select "paste".
